Crow Town Studios is an independent animation company aiming to create compelling young adult animation. Our first series features a Gwich’in woman surviving in a post-apocalyptic landscape after escaping human traffickers. With a focus on rich worldbuilding and flawed protagonists, TOOTH aims to answer a single, simple question: How far would you go to get home? For Tooth, the answer is far. Very far. 

Crow Town Studios was formed by two undergraduate students, a creative writing major and a psychology major, neither of whom had any animation or screenwriting experience. Over a two-year period they developed the world and plot that became TOOTH, learning on the go as they worked to make their vision a reality. They hope to inspire other young creatives to take a chance and create regardless of experience or tools. All it takes to make something is to go out and do it!
